Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We would like to wish all our families celebrating Eid-Ul-Fitr next week, Eid Mubarak! We hope you all have a happy and peaceful Eid.
To celebrate Eid there will be parties for the children during the afternoon of Friday 4th April.
Since this is a special occasion, your child will be allowed to wear party clothes to school in readiness for the parties in the afternoon.
This year the children at the Bobbers Mill Site will have their party food provided by the school kitchen, they will not need to bring their own food. The children in the Nursery (Apple Am/Apple Pm) will not require any food for their parties.
At the Brushfield Site we are asking the children to bring a £1 donation which school will then put towards their party food & drinks. The children will not need to bring their own food.
All cash donations should be given to your child’s class teacher on the morning of the Eid parties.
We have many children across both sites who suffer from serious food allergies. The decision to provide the food for the parties comes from wanting to ensure that all of the children in school are safe and have access to appropriate foods.
Thank you for your continued support,
Berridge Primary School
Red Nose Day Friday 21st March - We will be celebrating Comic Relief's 40th Birthday by asking the children to come to school in their party clothes. We will also be asking for a £1 donation on the day, all donations will go to Comic Relief

As you are aware Berridge had OFSTED inspectors in school on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th October.
The inspection went well and we are very pleased they recognised the hard work of parents, children and staff working together to ensure our children become successful. The inspectors particularly noted how polite the children were, motivated and the respect they show for each other.
From September 2024 OFSTED changed graded inspections and they will not include an overall effectiveness grade. Berridge was last inspected before September 2024 and judged to be good for its overall effectiveness. This inspection confirms school has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at the previous inspection which means it continues to be a good school.
The full report is available on the school website and also the OFSTED website.
Thank you for your continued support and helping to work together to achieve success
Flu Vaccine - Wednesday 11th December
Flu season is nearly here again and it is recommended that all primary school children receive the flu vaccine even if they had it last year. It is really important that we try to protect the NHS and prevent the spread of flu this winter.
On Wednesday 11th December experienced NHS nurses will be in school administering the flu nasal spray vaccine to the children.
If you would like your child to receive the flu vaccine in school this year, please follow this link to complete an online consent form. If you would like to decline, please complete a no consent form on the attached link.
A separate online form must be filled in for each child.
