A copy of the recent letters is below which contains useful information about this term. Please remember there’s lots of useful information in other parts of this website from help at home and what your child will be learning in school.
We organise parent consultation meetings throughout the year to discuss your child’s learning and in July you will receive written report.
If you have any questions or queries please contact us and the class teacher will be happy to arrange a meeting.

As we welcomed in the New Year, we also welcomed some frosty and snowy weather.
This was a brilliant opportunity for the children to explore winter weather, it also fitted in with our Book of Wonder - One Snowy Night.
We went on a winter walk and used our senses to explore the weather and how it effects our environment. We investigated what would happen to the water outside in the cold temperatures and had to help some Polar Bears that had become trapped in the frozen water. We also discussed what we needed to wear outside in this cold weather and made sure we where wrapped up to keep warm.
Our next Book of Wonder is Ruby’s Chinese New Year, we will be comparing different ways other cultures celebrate special times. We will be making Chinese New Year cards, dragons, learning the Chinese New Year story and holding a special celebration day where were will be doing a dragon dance and sampling some Chinese Food.
Our final Book of Wonder is Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We will be making yummy bowls of porridge, which is a great healthy winter breakfast for the cold months ahead. We will also be talking about other healthy breakfast options that we could try at home.
