Our aim is for children to experience a wide range of art, embracing the local environment and community. We want the use of art to enrich our pupils learning throughout the curriculum, where children can explore, experiment and create with growing confidence throughout life.
Creativity is a skill which underpins our learning. We understand and value the importance of teaching art from a young age. It is our aim to provide an art curriculum to develop transferable skills that equip our pupils for everyday life. Children will develop cognitive skills such as problem solving, observation, language, imagination and emotional development, and physical skills such as gross and fine motor.
