A copy of the recent letters is below which contains useful information about this term. Please remember there’s lots of useful information in other parts of this website from help at home and what your child will be learning in school.

We organise parent consultation meetings throughout the year to discuss your child’s learning and in July you will receive written report.

 If you have any questions or queries please contact us and the class teacher will be happy to arrange a meeting.

Year 3 Focus Page - July 2026

Year 3 had the exciting opportunity to visit the Hindu Temple as part of our RE learning. We have been studying Hinduism this year, exploring the key beliefs and values that a Hindu tries to follow in their daily lives.

At the temple, we learnt more about what Hinduism is like for people in Nottingham. We spoke to the temple leader who shared his knowledge with us, and we were able to show off our understanding of the Trimurti and Brahman! We had a guided tour around the main worship room and learnt lots more about the other Hindu deities, asking some probing questions!

It was a brilliant day and great opportunity to see Hinduism in the community!
