British Values at Berridge Primary

At Berridge Primary, we want our pupils to develop the skills and attitudes that will allow them to contribute positively to life in modern Britain. This involves children’s acceptance and engagement with the fundamental British values of

• democracy

• rule of law

• individual liberty

• mutual respect

• tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs

  These values are taught explicitly through Personal, Social, Health and Emotional (PSHE), assemblies and Religious Education (RE). We also teach British Values through planning and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum. Posters are available in every classroom to remind children of these values.
