Red Nose Day Friday 18th March

Calling all Superheroes

Friday 18th March is Red Nose Day is coming!

Red noses will be on sale from Wednesday 9th March. Each nose is £1.50 and is now plastic free. At least 75p from each sale will go to Comic Relief, who raise money for children’s charities and projects in both the UK and overseas.

At Bobbers Mill- parents can purchase noses on the yard before and after school from Wednesday 9th March

At Brushfield – parents can purchase noses from the school office before and after school from Wednesday 9th March

On Friday 18th March we would like you to dress up as a superhero, this can be a fictional superhero, or a real -life community hero, like a doctor, or even a superhero of your own invention.

We all have the ability, to be superheroes, by helping to raise money for Comic relief and DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) which is currently raising money to provide emergency relief for the people of Ukraine and those in neighbouring countries providing safety and support to those fleeing the conflict.

As such we’d like those of you who can, to increase our usual donation of £1 to £2. All donations welcome, however small.

The money we raise could be used for;

£30- essential hygiene supplies for 3 people for 1 month.

£50 – provide blankets for 4 families

£100- Food for 2 families for 1 month
