I’m missing you all very much! Fridays aren’t the same without hearing your lovely singing!
So I thought I’d set you a little home learning challenge myself.
I bet you didn’t know that teachers are learning new things too, while we’re not at school?
One of the things I’ve been trying to learn about and get better at is Sign Language, so I’ve been using videos on YouTube to learn new signs to use when i’m singing.
So I’m going to challenge you to see if you can learn a song in sign language too!
I found some of our most favourite songs on YouTube, so here are some links - let’s see if you can get really good at these, so that when we do go back to school, we can sing and sign them together.
If you like these, you might enjoy singing and signing along with some of our other favourite songs - if you follow this link, you’ll find tonnes of them with signs - have fun!
Here you will find a range of activities for the whole school to enjoy whilst we are shut. For learning activities from your class teacher please go to the Year Group Pages and the Homework website page.
Learn Makaton
Makaton is a type of sign language that many people, who may find it hard to speak or hear, use to communicate. Each week Mrs Maltby will teach you three new signs to learn.
